General

  • Cycle Moore is the trading name of Elliott Moore, Owner and Cytech Level 2 qualified mechanic.
  • The services that Cycle Moore offers are completely mobile and therefore have no trading premises for customers to visit.
  • We hold Public Liability Insurance: Elliott Moore Trading As Cycle Moore to the mimimum coverage of £2 million.
  • Payments are required on completion of work to the agreed amount by verbal or written confirmation in full by Credit/Debit Card only, handled by Zettle.
  • We are unable to accept cheques or any other form of payment not stated in these terms.
  • All work is guaranteed for a period of 3 months from the date off repair and understood that out of this time, will be chargeable. Bicycles are built from many components, which from time to time require adjustments, which is out of our control.
  • We (Cycle Moore) can not guarantee or warrantee, any parts that are supplied for us to fit, including, failure, damage and/or wear and tear.
  • We accept no responsibility for any loss, costs, injury or death as a result of any upgrades, alterations, adjustments, repairs or servicing carried out after one of our services/repairs.
  • We accept no liability of any damages while work is being carried out on customer’s premises or place of work.
  • If any further parts or work is required once work has commenced, you will be informed and only once approved, shall we continue.
  • If we provide you with an ‘estimate’, it is exactly that. From time to time part prices from our suppliers change which is out of our control and therefore the price may change.
  • After all work is completed, a detailed invoice is produced, which you will receive a copy of to sign to accept these terms and conditions. Cycle Moore will keep a copy of this for a period of 36 months as proof of workmanship.
  • All bikes repaired and/or serviced are test ridden after carrying out the work prior to collection/delivery to ensure it operates and performs correctly out of the stand. On certain types/sizes of bikes this is not possible.
  • All parts used are to be suitable for the job and last a reasonable amount of time. If there is any aspect you are unhappy about, please get in touch and we will discuss how to resolve your issue amicably. Similarly, we would not accept to be responsible for damage caused by accidents, carelessness, tampering and/or wear and tear.
  • Due to the nature of our mobile business, and keeping on time for appointments, there is a chance of running late due to circumstances sometimes out of our hands. We shall do our up most to keep you informed, if there will me a change in the booking.
  • Cycle Moore reserves the right to charge, if we feel that the bicycle booked in for work is in a too dirty condition for us to proceed with the repair or service. This is charged at £15.
  • If you decide to cancel your booking for a service or repair. Please give us at least 48 hours notice before said booking, otherwise a deposit may be required for any future bookings are confirmed.
  • It may be necessary to occasionally move bookings, to ensure an efficient service is provided. You will be notified of any chances 48hrs in advance.
  • If for any reason we are unable to make your appointment/booking. You will be informed by telephone call at least 48 hours before this. We will make an alternate booking date/time as soon as possible to best suit both our commitments.
  • Our coverage area is detailed at www.cyclemoore.co.uk/coverage. This is to an estimated 35miles from our location. Any place outside of this area, will be charged a call-out fee in addition of £15.

  • Cycle Moore reserves the right to change our description of services and prices stated on the website, with out any prior notice. This does not affect any confirmation of future booked work.
  • Access to our website is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our site without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.
  • Our website www.cyclemoore.co.uk utilizes industry standard analytics packages which gathers limited information on visitors to our website automatically, and stores this anonymous information in server log files. This information does not identify individual users; it is used only for site administration, as well as for analysis of website usage and trends.
  • Any of the material on our site may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update such material.
  • Details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs, operating system, browser usage and other communication data, which is for our monitoring purposes only.

  • We may collect and process information that you provide by filling in forms on our site www.cyclemoore.co.uk. This includes information provided at the time of registering interest in using our services, or requesting future services. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our site. If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
  • Your details are not disclosed to third parties under any circumstances. If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, you will be contacted first.
